Hematite Quartz
Hematite gets its name from a Greek word meaning blood-like because of the color of its powder. Hematite is derived from Hema.
Ancient Egyptians used hematites as ornamental objects placed inside their tombs.
Hematite is the most important iron ore. It is a dense mineral with a metallic luster and steel-gray color. Hardness is 5 - 6.
Hematite is found in England, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Brazil, New Zealand, the U.S. and most recently on Mars by NASA's Opportunity rover.
Has a flexible multi strand band made of stainless steel. The ferrule is plated in silver. |
Bracelet Sizing Instructions
- Measure your right wrist where you would wear a watch.

No tape measure? Fold a narrow piece of paper or string gently around wrist.It should be loose enough that you can place a finger between the string and your wrist. Then check the length with a ruler.

For borderline measurements make sure the string is not tight (this would create an uncomfortable fit).

When in doubt, order the next largest size. If necessary, the bracelet can be squeezed together to make it a bit smaller.

A bracelet that is too loose will twist around.
Note: An extra cuff is used on the quartz bracelets making these bracelets measure ½ inch larger than those with gold or silver terminals.
Example: If your wrist measures 71/4 order a size SMALL in a quartz style.
